Pottery Throwdown 2026 Episode Six Series Nine

Pottery Throwdown 2026 Episode Six Series Nine

This episode was a treat, it even captured the attention of my five year old daughter - that's saying something!

I loved that it was so different to any episodes from previous series and what a challenge to undertake, most of them seemed to love creating those posies. I was thinking about what I would have done - daffodils as our front field was covered in a blanket of them each spring, chrysanthemums which were always in my nans house, gypsophila  which made up my entire elopement/wedding bouquet and maybe tulips which are one of my favourites every spring and the flower I have grown most. What would you chose?

I think the right person went, as great as Emily has been, hers wasn't as good - still brilliant but just not quite as good. It was clearly a tricky challenge as they all struggled somewhat. Really pleased for Kayleigh as she did so brilliantly the entire weekend, I wasn't sure about her vase decoration and did think that Naveed was a close runner up - if only he didn't come last in the second challenge I think he could have got in the gallery.

I can't believe it's already quarter finals - I really like everyone who is left and I don't have a clue who is going to win - and surely two will go home next week, they can't send two home in the semi-finals can they?!
